Dr. Nadia Wong is our resident Singaporean General Physician at SingMed Medical Center.

Biography

Dr Nadia Wong graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2010. Her medical training was conducted in Dunedin and Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand, following which she did her hospital internship at Waikato Hospital in Hamilton, New Zealand. Upon gaining registration, she moved to Cambodia to work in private practice.

Dr. Wong has been in General Practice in Phnom Penh for the past 9 years. With her vast experience in managing medical conditions locally, she is able to consult with expatriates and local Cambodians alike for various ailments. She builds good rapport with her patients and is able to establish a close patient-doctor relationship. Her particular interests are in paediatric vaccinations and adult general health screening. She is also able to assist in teleconsultations for patients seeking treatment with Singapore specialists.

Dr. Wong enjoys doing voluntary work in Cambodia. She previously went on medical mission trips to the provinces and prisons. She currently volunteers with the non-governmental organisation St John Phnom Penh in her free time, assisting in conducting first aid training for the Cambodian St John members and embarking on humanitarian missions to the provinces with the St John Singapore teams.
